I said no to a movie tonight because I needed to finish homework. Instead, I ended up watching hours upon hours of cat videos while persuading and making a list as to why my boyfriend should get a cat.

If I’m not careful, I will end up like that creepy old lady who used to live in my neighborhood with 5 cats.

So it’s the 21st century. People are into organic food, you know, the kind of food that is supposedly healthier than the rest. It’s the type of food without pesticides, without being genetically modified, and is considered to be au-natural. But how natural is natural? What kind of lengths would you go to live a healthier lifestyle? According to this cookbook, the term au-natural has gone to another level.

As noted in the title, it is a “collection of semen-based recipes”. I believe that this is as natural as it gets, and I have no idea who in their right mind would prepare and serve bodily fluids to guests during Christmas dinner. According to the description, “semen is inexpensive to produce and is commonly available in many, if not most, homes and restaurants.” Okay okay, so I guess semen could be common in homes if you have a particular someone willing to give it up (wow, wouldn’t that be a weird favor to ask for?), but really, in restaurants? That’s highly unhygienic.

So, since I love to Google, I decided to find out what some of these recipes were. Are you ready? Because I certainly wasn’t.

Even though I was never a huge fan of oysters, reading about this next recipe turned me against it even more. For this simple and quick appetizer, all you need are fresh oysters, lemon, and I’m sure the last ingredient is not too much of a surprise. Mix it all together, and you get what they call “Man Made Oysters”.
